Memorial to Honor Our Nation's Heroes
The Collier County Freedom Memorial is a grassroots effort to pay tribute to the men and women who sacrificed their lives in service to our country and the victims of the 9/11 attacks.
Each Collier County citizen has the opportunity to participate in this effort to support the Freedom Memorial designed by Gerald Ladue of Naples, which will be built at Freedom Park at the corner of Goodlette-Frank Road and Golden Gate Parkway. Construction of the memorial is scheduled to begin in the near future, thanks to the generous contributions that have been made thus far.
We will never forget the men and women who serve our country. They are soldiers who have made the ultimate sacrifice defending their nation. They are the civilians whose lives were tragically lost on September 11, 2001. What better way to acknowledge our love and appreciation for our nation’s heroes than with a permanent tribute to their sacrifices?
How can you help? By making a one-time donation by buying a brick or more for yourself, in honor of a loved one, or your company. Each sponsored brick will be a visible part of the perimeter at the Freedom Memorial.
Additional information and forms may be obtained at the Eastern Collier Chamber of Commerce office, or click here to visit the Memorial web site.
